Opening it the first time

The app isn't from the Mac App Store, so macOS asks you to confirm the first time. This is normal — you only do it once.

  1. Open the downloaded BuildPCB.dmg and drag BuildPCB Desktop to your Applications folder.
  2. In Applications, right-click (or Control-click) BuildPCB Desktop and choose Open.
  3. When macOS warns you, click Open again. From then on it opens normally.

Still says it "can't be opened" or is "damaged"? Open the Terminal app and paste this, then press Return:
xattr -cr "/Applications/BuildPCB Desktop.app"
then open the app normally.

Requires an active BuildPCB plan to design. See plans → · Your projects live on your Mac and can be exported anytime.
